Faith Led Working Moms - Creating Balance, Biblical Mindset, Routines, Time Management, Priorities, Overwhelm Management
*Creating Balance *Biblical Mindset *Intentional Living * Time Management *Priorities *Overwhelm & Anxiety Management Are you a busy, working Mom, overwhelmed by all the hats you have to wear? Are you exhausted from juggling your ever-growing list of commitments and to-dos? Do you desire to show up abundantly in all the areas of your life, but are spread too thin, leaving you feeling weary and guilty that you didn’t do enough? If this is you, Friend, then I am so excited to welcome you! I’m Lindsay, a Jesus-loving, anxious-prone wife and Mom to 3. As a working Mom myself, I know firsthand how stressful it can be to have the desire to financially help your family, but also show up as a Mom, fully engaged and present for the people who are most important to you. I was drowning in all the things, overcome with anxiety and blindly believing the enemy’s lies that I wasn’t doing enough. Which only left me spiraling even deeper into a more toxic cycle that felt impossible to escape. It wasn’t until I prioritized my relationship with the Lord through rooting myself in scripture and prayer that I began to see the light. When I gave myself space to rest in God’s presence and became conscious of what my foundational priorities were, my life began to change, and I experienced freedom. And I am so excited to share that freedom and peace with you! So, I invite you to join me weekly for a dose of encouragement, practical tools, tips, and resources to help all of us align ourselves with scripture and restore our priorities. I truly believe that when we are intentional about renewing our minds and rooting ourselves in God’s promises, we get to actively live in the best that God has for us. So, gift yourself the next few minutes with a cozy blanket and warm drink, and come as you are. You are welcome here Friend and I can’t wait to share this time with you. The start of the new year brings about some natural emotions in all of us. Some of us find a newfound sense of motivation, others of us spend time looking at our lives and making new goals for our selves.
We spend a lot of time and energy thinking about what we want to be doing better, how we can improve, and everything we want to change. And while there’s genuine value in that, I think it’s also important to take some time to sit in reflection. We go through life so quickly. So often we find ourselves moving through our days at lightspeed and we don’t take time to sit and reflect.
Reflecting on the past year, the highs, lows, and everything in between has a lot of value. It's a treasure chest of learning and growth and a place where we can sit and meet with God.
Reflecting on your personal experience and setting clear goals out of that reflection time will increase your self-awareness and improve your chances in succeeding and showing up the way in which you want to. It also opens up space for you to acknowledge all the good that you bring to this world.
Before you start going crazy with resolutions and goals, I want to give us permission to take a few minutes and spend some time in reflection today, to help us sit in gratitude for everything that’s been given to us, and maybe even things that have been taken away, so we can feel at peace moving forward in the new year in the direction we know we want and need to go.

Life is going by in lightspeed. Sometimes, depending on the season we are in, we feel better about that reality than other times. When we are doing life so fast, it’s hard to enjoy the present and live in gratitude…whether we are in the holiday season or not.
The art of slowing down, and implementing slow living in your life is a concept that I work within my coaching and I believe it’s something that all of us can attain no matter who we are and our circumstances. It’s all about making small and steady changes to your daily life. You don’t need to worry about changing your lifestyle drastically overnight.
Slow living is more about making your life easier and more enjoyable.
Cultivating an atmosphere for you and your family to live a more balanced life, where it’s easier to acknowledge the world around you and what and who you have in it. But usually when and if we actually get around to making some much needed changes, Mom-guilt likes to creep in.
So that is what we are unpacking a bit today. How to invite more slow living into your life. A life where you are building a more meaningful and conscious lifestyle that is more in line with what you value most in life without feeling the dreaded weight of mom guilt. I want to affirm you in making little changes that actually make an impact helping you live more in the “present”.

When we are weary and we are doing too much, it has a tendency to affect every area in our lives and it’s hard to be motivated to keep up with the good. The enemy wants us exhausted and tired and burned out.
So, how do we get a leg up? What are some ways that we can take intentional action?
Today's episode gives 4 Simple Ways that can help you Transform the Way You Feel and Give Your Soul Rest.
How many of us find ourselves constantly caught up in the whirlwind of daily life? We wake up early, rush to get our families ready for the day's demands, manage work, juggle household chores, and shuttle our kids from one activity to another. It's overwhelming. It's a never-ending cycle of commitments and responsibilities. I see you, because I've been there too and depending on the week, I openly confess that I very much live out this reality at times too.
Today, we are unpacking this layer by layer and talking about intentional things we can do to help change the way we feel…from exhausted and overwhelmed to feeling more rested and present in the day to day… to creating more space…essential space - a space where our souls can be truly fed and replenished. Take a walk around the block or cozy up on the couch and join me for the next few minutes as we uncover simple and effective ways to fill the void so many of us are feeling and find the fulfillment we've been seeking so we can move from feeling tired and burned out to feeling truly aligned and energized within the work that God has called us to.

How do we know confidently that we are doing what we need to be doing in the season that we are in?
We all go through different seasons in our life with the time that we are given. Some seasons are filled with drive and ambition, some seasons are filled with us being in survival mode, other times we are in seasons where we are functioning on autopilot and going through the motions of the life that we have created for ourselves. Different seasons find us in different places throughout our life, and as I’m getting older, I’m realizing more and more that that’s OK. When we look at our lives as a timeline, we realize that our lives consist of seasons, and nothing is guaranteed to stay the same.
With so many responsibilities and commitments, we are left having to ask ourselves…where does that leave us? Where is our anchor, what should we focus on? Where does our time and energy really need to go?
I hope you’ll take the next little bit for yourself as I take a few minutes to unpack and hopefully leave us all feeling a little more encouraged.

Why do things happen to us? Why does God allow things to happen to us? All of us at some point go through things in this life that will never make sense. And I think it’s often our response to these big, unexpected happenings that are completely out of our control that determine where we end up in this life. It’s pretty much guaranteed that we will all have times in our lives that we will need to rely on others more than ourselves and that we will need to live out our faith in ways that we never ever wanted to if it were up to us.
In these hard times, I am trying to cling to what I know to be true and focus on that…but it’s hard. It’s hard for all of us - no matter who you are … no matter what you are going through to do that…and that’s why this life requires so much faith. BUT it’s HARD. It is so evident…especially in times when there is nothing we can physically or mentally do to change our circumstances, that we find ourselves unable to do this life on our own. And we were never created to do it on our own. Each of our own circumstances proves that to be true every single day that we are given. But when these times come, where do we go? What do we do? How do we know that what we are doing is the right thing to be doing and walk in confidence and peace? I’m trying to figure this out as I speak and I am welcoming you to come alongside me as you and I together in a transparent way, try and fill more of our space with how God desires for it to be filled.

This life is overwhelming. This life is broken. This life and the world in which we live is not our home. There is so much sadness, and so much sin, and so much destruction and devastation in this world that we get consumed with all these things that we so easily neglect our eternal jobs in which we have been given.
Tomorrow is not promised. My family and I know this statement to be all too real. The unimaginable has happened and we are finding ourselves swimming in so many questions and uncertainties.
Being a working mom is now more real than ever for me.
I don’t know anything except that God is faithful…even when we have lingering uncertainties, even when our prayers don’t align with our desires in our heart, even when we are suffocating with doubts, even when we are swimming in fear...God is faithful. And the only things I am confident in is His steadfast love for us.

Isn’t it weird to think about how we are living in a time where there are more conveniences and shortcuts to pretty much everything, yet we are more busy and distracted and feel like we have less time than ever?
It is important to so many of us to live out a purposeful life. We know there is a manageable balance out there…but we aren’t experiencing it. We want it and in order for us to get it, we try to do more, or go faster, or try harder to attain it. We are becoming so rushed and so busy chasing too many ideas of false promises of how to get balance so we can live out that purposeful life…but in doing so, we are becoming blind to the fact that we are already standing in a reality where God’s blessings can be found.
Each day we are given, is an opportunity to walk hand in hand with God through our own circumstances. And when we do this, when we slow the pace, when we live in the present, and seek God, that the distractions and hurry of this world go dim, and we can focus and love on the things that God has given us to cultivate and we find balance.
Permission is being granted to live in the present… To slow the hurry in your heart and mind and appreciate the abundance of goodness that is surrounding you.

Do you feel like you have too much on your plate and are constantly juggling too many things just to survive? Do you feel like life is happening to you, rather than you being the one behind the wheel? You're not the only one!
Today's episode is talking about the chaos and overwhelm that often consumes our lives. We explore the familiar struggle of juggling too much, pushing ourselves to the limit, and the constant battle against distractions.
We take time to talk about the common narrative between us all with trying to fit too much into an already busy schedule, but then uncover a better way - a path toward balance and purpose.
We emphasize that we were never meant to carry the heavy burdens we place on ourselves and that true peace is offered by God even before we take any action.
We discover the power of maintaining a connection with our Creator and the importance of gratitude in shifting our perspective. Accepting our limitations is a gift and a form of divine provision to help us set boundaries to prioritize what matters most to us. Ultimately, this episode serves as a guide to help us slow down, cherish each moment, and live a purposeful life in alignment with God's plan.
Are you finding it challenging to determine your top priorities? Do you wrestle with setting boundaries and find yourself overwhelmed, constantly juggling too many responsibilities? How do we attain a deeper sense of balance when we are living the in the middle of overwhelm? How do you find time and ways to nurture our faith and family when we are overcommitted to too many things?
If you feel like you are strung out, struggling to juggle it all, feeling overcommitted and desiring to be more present for your family…this episode is for you.
We all have A LOT going on. But the beautiful thing within all of this, despite the circumstances that you may be individually going though, is that we serve the SAME GOD, and that SAME God is faithful and that SAME GOD takes care of you, that SAME GOD made this day and planned it out and promises that we will not be tempted and tried beyond our ability to bear. He is in the trenches with us.
We are trying to do too many things and we are trying to keep up with everything all by ourselves. We neglect to seek the Lord and live our days in the calling He has placed on our lives.
As Christians, our relationship with God and our faith is our anchor. But, sometimes, in the middle of all the busy…it can take a back seat. It only becomes a priority when it’s convenient for us, or when we absolutely hit rock bottom and have no other choice but to go to Him.
Listen in as I give encouragement and give ways to cultivate balance in the middle of all the busy!

All of us have experienced some degree of mom guilt in our lives and the weight of it can be heavy, challenging, and an extremely emotional experience. Balancing the demands of your job, growing in faith, and being there for your family, and all the other things can lead us to feelings of inadequacy and toxic thought patterns that we are never doing enough.
Today we are acknowledging how mom guilt can flood us in our lives, but also give actionable ways to help pull us out. We are digging deep into how satan can utilize mom guilt and manipulate our good intentions to separate us from God’s grace. We are talking about ways in how his manipulation leaves us feeling like we aren’t measuring up and failing in our calling. BUT THEN…we are turning it around by sharing tactical things you can do to rise above it and live under God’s blessings and His best for you.
Through intention, faith, and love you can find the strength to navigate the challenges and cherish the blessings that each day brings. You aren't alone!
